Rev David S Cameron is our Parish Minister. Born in Glasgow and brought up in Barrhead, East Renfrewshire. He embarked on a career in civil engineering and commercial management. Discerning a call to ministry he graduated from Glasgow University and was called to Laigh West High Kirk in 2001. Grange Church united with the congregation in 2009 to become New Laigh Kirk.
David has placed the church at the heart of town and community with initiatives linking partnerships with East Ayrshire Council Vibrant Communities, Ayrshire and Arran NHS Trust, businesses, local government service provision and charitable trusts.
He is married to Laura and has three children Lewis, Lyall and Emily. He likes to taxi!! Watch football, play golf and dine out when not taxiing three children
Sara gained a degree in B.Ed. Primary Education and taught for nearly 5 years before entering into church work.
Sara joined the team in January 2013 and is our Family worker. She oversees all our children’s activities including Kingz Kidz, Holidays Clubs and Tots Praise. She also organises family events throughout the year such as ceilidhs, themed afternoons and activity weekends away. Sara is a keen musician and sings and plays guitar in our worship band. She created the NLK Vocals group in 2015 and has led them in performances at Easter and Christmas.
Sara recently got married to Steven and the two of them love photography and attending gigs.

Bethany grew up in a variety of locations across Britain including Millport, Manchester and Ayrshire – accounting for her somewhat muddled accent.
She studied Community Development at Glasgow University and has been involved in leading groups of young people since the age of 17. She spent several years sleeping on a church floor once a month in the name of youth work!
As Youth and Community Worker, Bethany is responsible for NLK’s teenagers. She plans the spiritual and social programs for youth, and partners with local schools. She is passionate about seeing young people grow into all that God created them to be.
Bethany loves travelling and experiencing new cultures. She enjoys spending time with her husband Colin, hanging out with friends, walks on the beach and cooking delicious meals
Barbara was born and brought up on the bonnie bonnie banks o Loch Lomond. She studied Diaconal Ministry and Church in the Community in Edinburgh. Barbara worked as Parish Assistant in Dundee and Hospital Chaplain in Kilmarnock before joining the Ministry Team at New Laigh Kirk.
As Pastoral Assistant, Barbara has established and oversees the Pastoral Care Group who visit the senior members of the congregation. She also established regular monthly services of worship in three local nursing homes, and a quarterly service of worship in a local sheltered housing complex. Barbara organises regular afternoon activities and outings for housebound folks within the parish and conducts funeral services when called upon.
Barbara loves long walks in the countryside with her husband John and their dogs Ava and Roxy. She enjoys their annual extended family holidays, cycling with daughter Eilidh and son John, socialising with friends and relaxing with a good book.
Born and bred in Kilmarnock, and educated at Grange Academy Martin gained a BA in Music from Stirling University, followed by an LTCL in Music teaching from Trinity College of Music and has been teaching Piano since 1987.

Martin has been a Boys Brigade Lieutenant since 1985, having been a member since the early 1970’s. Martin is Married to Suzanne and they have one daughter.
