East Ayrshire Churches Homelessness Action

East Ayrshire Churches Homelessness Action (EACHa) is an ecumenical charity, formed in 2005, whose aim is to put faith into action for the benefit of the most vulnerable and marginalised members of our community.

EACHa receives funding from East Ayrshire Council, Ayrshire and Arran Community Health Partnership, the Church of Scotland Go For It Fund, the Presbytery of Irvine and Kilmarnock and local churches of different denominations throughout East Ayrshire.

It is also supported by Scottish Churches Housing Action.

EACHa runs a Drop In Centre in New Laigh Kirk Halls each Wednesday afternoon from 2 - 4pm for the homeless and newly rehoused. Food and drink is served and clothes, toiletries and household goods are also distributed.

From March 2015, EACHa's Community Friends drop-in, in conjunction with East Ayrshire Council's Vibrant Communities, operates on Mondays and Fridays in Grange Street lunch club premises.
